These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors and customers of the Stephen Skinner Art website. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use this website.
Stephen Skinner reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Products & Artwork Information
Every effort is made to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, minor variations may occur.
As original artworks are photographed under varying lighting conditions and viewed across different devices and screens, colours may appear slightly different in person than they do online.
All artworks are sold subject to availability.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing for commissioned works.
Payments are securely processed through Shopify Payments, PayPal, Stripe, and other approved payment providers.
Stephen Skinner reserves the right to change pricing without notice.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Stephen Skinner Art ships both original artworks and limited edition prints throughout Australia and internationally.
Shipping timeframes provided on this website are estimates only and may vary due to production schedules, courier delays, customs processing, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other fees imposed by their country.

5. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of original artwork, limited edition prints, and commissioned works, all sales are considered final.
Refunds or returns are not available for change of mind.
If an item arrives damaged in transit or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery and provide:
- Photographs of the artwork
- Photographs of the packaging
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
We will assess each claim individually and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund.

6. Commissions
Commissioned artworks require a non-refundable deposit before work commences.
By proceeding with a commission, the client acknowledges that Stephen Skinner's work is created in an intuitive and expressive style and that artistic interpretation forms part of the creative process.
Once approved and completed, commissioned works are non-refundable unless damaged during transit.
Specific commission terms, timelines, and payment schedules will be agreed upon prior to commencement.
7. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All artwork, images, photographs, designs, logos, branding, text, and content displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of Stephen Skinner and are protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
The purchase of an original artwork or print does not transfer copyright ownership.
You may not:
- Reproduce, copy, distribute, or publish artwork without written permission.
- Use artwork images for commercial purposes.
- Create derivative works based on Stephen Skinner's artwork.
- Reproduce artwork on products, publications, websites, advertising, or merchandise without a licensing agreement.
8. Personal Use
Collectors are welcome to display purchased artworks in their homes, workplaces, or private collections.
Images of purchased artworks may be shared on social media provided appropriate credit is given to Stephen Skinner.
Artwork must not be presented as your own work or altered in a way that misrepresents the artist's original intent.
9. Licensing & Reproduction Requests
Requests relating to licensing, reproduction, publication, editorial use, commercial projects, collaborations, or image usage must be approved in writing by Stephen Skinner.

10. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information is used solely for order fulfilment, customer communication, and marketing communications where consent has been provided.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stephen Skinner Art shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products from it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
